Background Information:
Filippo started playing drums in 1988. He was influenced by the playing style of Toto drummer Jeff Porcaro. Early on, Fil checked out drummers like Dave Weckl, Stewart Copeland, Dennis Chambers, Chad.Wackerman, Tom.Brechtlein, ... and then Simon.Phillips. Fil is a self-taught drummer of many musical styles including jazz fusion, blues, funk, rock, pop, acid, and progressive. His first demo called Pollution (written by himself) was recorded in 1996. Iin 1999 he dedicated two years to play only live jazz. During 2000, he started recording and collaborating via the Internet with the Funkdawgs. He is also featured on more than 150 tunes, recorded with over 35 artists from all over the world Many of those tunes became hits on web sites, radios and music charts...
